Don’t trust your body to just anyone! The right coach can make all the difference in the world when it come to proper exercise technique and improved athletic performance. At ITS we select only the highest quality coaching staff. Unlike most gyms, our coaches have years of experience as well as studiously maintaining their certifications through ongoing training seminars from some of the most highly respectable sources in the industry. They understand that effective training also requires positive reinforcement and the use of methods that cater to each athlete’s individual learning style.

Brett Cohen, founder of Integrated Training Systems, Brett’s extensive interest in health and fitness started in 1987 when he began to study the martial arts of Japanese Jiu-Jitsu,Thai Boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has been an avid runner since 2000 and has run 7 marathons and more than 250 road races. Brett has been coaching others on how to be more fit and healthy since 1999. In addition to his coaching, Brett is also a lecturer and educator and has presented for: New York Road Runners, Colgate-Palmolive Co., Stuyvesant Town, Lululemon Athletica, Jack Rabbit stores, Athleta stores, and Gallagher Benefit Services. He has written an “Ask the Expert” column in Competitor Magazine, has been interviewed on Essentially Fit Radio and is a contributing writer to the New York Flyers blog.

Credentials

Brett holds a Bachelor Degree in Education, is a C.H.E.K Institute Trained Exercise Coach, Golf Performance Specialist and Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Level 2. He also holds certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the Titlelist Performance Institute as a Golf Fitness Instructor.

Robert Ramsey, founder of Robert Ramsey Revolution, fitness became an integral part of his life through the study of Tae Kwon Do, a martial arts discipline in which he holds a 3rddegree black belt. He has been working in the capacity as an exercise coach since 2002 and brings the concentration, work ethic and positive mindset required to succeed in the martial arts to his clients. Improving their quality of life by helping them realize their full physical potential. Robert has developed relationships with the industry’s top coaches, helping him bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his profession.

Amy Serflass, is an Internationally Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the Australian Institute of Fitness and has been involved in the fitness industry for more than 10 years. She has experience working with a variety of client populations including: pre -post natal, senior population, everyday athletes, and even athletes with disabilities. She specializes in working with women in the age range of 35 – 55. When not helping her athletes grow, she keeps herself fit by participating in Krav Maga, weight-training, mud runs and kickboxing. In addition to her passion for  fitness, she also enjoys playing the piano.

Rika Keck, ACN, Adv. MT, Holistic Lifestyle Advisor is the founder of NY Integrated Health, a company whose emphasis is on Holistic Health & Nutrition. Her knowledge and passion will help you to take action in your journey of learning how to eat well, feel energetic and vibrant. She is especially interested in addressing Woman’s Wellness and creates customized nutrition, weight-loss and wellness programs for the professional woman-on-the-go.

Credentials

She is trained in Applied Clinical Nutrition, certified in the Advanced Metabolic Typing, a system of customized nutrition based on genetic biochemistry, and also certified as a C.H.E.K Holistic Lifestyle Coach-Level 3 as well as Level 1 Exercise Coach.
